A formal consultation period over new PAF licence terms starts next month on 4th November. Users and resellers have until 24th December to comment on proposals to introduce clearer and fairer licence terms. The changes are intended to be revenue neutral and will come into effect from September 2009.

Jennie Longden, head of the Address Management Unit at Royal Mail says: "Our aim has always been to support the growth of markets that use PAF to add value to products and services. It is our intention to build on the existing agreement, to ensure a fair and level playing field for all our customers."
